Hello and welcome to Lady Stitcher! My name is Sue and I’m a writer from Ireland living in Shanghai, China. I started this blog to encourage myself to learn new sewing (mainly dressmaking) and knitting techniques. An almost-beginner in both crafts, I hope to track my progress and projects so that I can see the areas I need to work on  – as well as celebrating good results!
